It is responsible for guarding the national symbols of Slovakia (the nationwide flag, for example) in the entrance lobby of the National Council Constructing. Since 2007, a Joint-Service Drill Competition has been held every April in entrance of the Reflecting Pool of the Nationwide Mall. It was created in 1995 as a result of a mix of two drill teams from different navy academies in the nation (the Minsk Air Defence and Rocket College and the Minsk Greater Military Command School particularly). This unit, recognized formally as the Air Warrior Drill Group (AWDT), was founded in 2004 and serves as the guard of honour of the IAF. For ceremonial functions the guards carry numerous rifles – the Military, Navy and Air Drive carry the M16 rifle; the Marine Corps carry M1 Garands and the traditional guards carry ceremonial swords, arrows, spears, and lances, sexe paris retaining with the traditions of the Korean military and as a tribute to the guards units of the Imperial period. In the course of the colonial period, the Lascarins offered the local guards of honour, aside from British Military, British Indian Military, or Ceylon Defence Force personnel. Honour guards from the Armed Forces of Armenia are offered by the Honour Guard Battalion of the Ministry of Defence of Armenia, which is stationed at the defence ministry’s headquarters in Yerevan.
